HORMONE

YOGA

What is it & how does it work?

Hormone Yoga is a series of exercises designed to reactivate your body’s natural hormonal cycles.

It’s a holistic approach that eliminates the symptoms of unbalanced hormones.

Hormone Yoga was created by Brazilian psychologist and Yoga Therapist, Dinah Rodrigues.

In this dynamic form of Yoga, women can naturally reactivate hormone production of the female endocrine glands.

These are the ovaries, thyroid, pituitary gland and adrenals.

Hormone Yoga combines elements of classical Hatha Yoga, Kundalini Yoga, and Tibetan energy circulation techniques that stimulate & activate female hormone production.

THE HORMONE YOGA DIFFERENCE

In a Hormone Yoga session, there are no downward dogs, no upward dogs, or even warrior poses.

The practice consists of a special series of dynamic yoga exercises (asanas) which directly massage the glands to reactivate hormone production.

Asanas are accompanied by specific breathing techniques (pranayama), concentration, visualization & relaxation (Yoga Nidra).

In addition, the Tibetan way of directing energy is combined with specific muscle contractions (bandhas) in order to stimulate and activate female hormone production.

As a result, a regular Hormone Yoga practice helps rebalance your hormonal system.

It consequently has shown to eliminate symptoms of hormonal imbalances.

Hormone Yoga can be practiced by anyone – even if you’ve never done yoga before.
