The Setting
Women Unplugged is held at Eremito, a Conde Nast Gold Listed eco-luxury sanctuary nestled within a 3,000 hectare UNESCO-protected reserve in the hills of Umbria. Once a 14th-century monastery, this contemporary hermitage was lovingly restored as a space devoted to silence, simplicity, and deep renewal.
Designed in the spirit of ancient monastic life, Eremito was created as a refuge for true disconnection. There are no televisions, no Wi-Fi, and only very limited mobile signal. The property is surrounded by forest, powered by solar energy, and nourished by its own organic vegetable garden.
The centuries-old stone walls, the protected wilderness, the pure air, and the profound quiet invite your nervous system to soften almost immediately. The environment itself becomes part of the healing, naturally creating space for rest, reflection, and presence.
In late autumn, the surrounding hills glow with shades of gold and crimson. The air carries the scent of woodsmoke and earth. Evenings are illuminated by hundreds of candles, creating a warm, sacred atmosphere.
It’s a season of letting go, and you’ll be held by both the land and the women gathered alongside you.
The Yoga Practices
At the heart of this retreat is Yoga designed specifically for women’s bodies and cyclical nature.
Each morning, we’ll practice together in the beautiful Yoga Shala overlooking the autumn valley. These Hatha-based sessions blend Asana, Pranayama, and Meditation to awaken your body’s energy, clear mental fog, and reconnect you with your innate rhythms. As the noise of constant connectivity fades, you’ll begin to hear your intuition more clearly.
Each afternoon, we’ll gather for Restorative Yoga and Sound Healing. These therapeutic practices help release tension held deep in the body, regulate your nervous system, and create the conditions for profound rest. This is where your body learns to soften, to receive, to let go.
It’s in these practices that you’ll be surrendering doing energy and learning the art of being.
Whether you’ve been practicing Yoga for decades or you’ve never been on a mat, you’ll be met exactly where you are.
You’ll learn tools you can bring home. Simple rituals to nourish your nervous system, support your sleep, and reconnect with your body whenever life feels overwhelming.
This is Yoga as a homecoming.

YOUR RETREAT GUIDE
I’ve been practicing Yoga since 2001 and teaching since 2008. Somewhere in those years, after closing a Yoga studio and a life I thought I wanted in New York, I learned the thing I now build every retreat around: women are rhythmic and seasonal by design.
I didn’t learn this in a book first. I learned it by falling out of rhythm myself, and finding my way back.
My work helps women understand the cycles of breath, body, and change not as problems to fix, but as sources of wisdom. I guide Hormone Yoga Therapy, restorative and mobility practices, meditation, and subconscious reprogramming, all rooted in honoring these natural rhythms.
My commitment is simple. I help women understand themselves more fully so they can become the most powerful and steady presence in their own life.
Women Unplugged is an extension of this work. It’s the retreat I created because I believe you deserve to be held, not just to hold.
This has been a beautiful and enriching experience – working with natures cycles and the body has been enlightening. Jen provides inspiration and kindness throughout.
Studying with Jen was transformational and I learned so much from the experience not just about Yoga & Reiki but also about how to best live my life on my own terms by listening (and not ignoring) my inner voice.
Jen is an amazing teacher. I always wished to have a private yoga teacher for every day. Now I actually had that dream come true. I saw mayor improvement in my skill level and really felt so good starting each day with this time for myself.
Jen encourages you to grow. You’ll learn and feel at the right place at the right time. She knows the body very precisely and has very good advice. She shows possibilities.
What amazes me most is that I see these benefits outside of the sessions, implementing techniques and practices from my sessions into my daily routine and how I approach each day
I attended Jen’s Lanzarote Retreat and I had very few expectations of this retreat as I had no knowledge of this island to speak of prior to going there. I have to say the island is beautiful and the retreat with Jen was life changing and inspirational. She’s not only an incredible teacher of the various Yogic practices, she expands your thinking and confidence each time and teaches in such a way that you gain knowledge of Yoga and its philosophy, and how it has evolved too.
Insightful and stimulating practices. I learned and explored and walked away feeling refreshed and empowered to do things differently
Jen’s methodology is intelligent, creative, deeply effective, and mindful. She offers approaches that will push you beyond your false limitations…and expectations.
The opportunity to practice with Jen is a yogic gift! Jen’s sessions bring together movement, breath, spirituality, and philosophy. She teaches with a fresh and easy interpretation of Yoga, so her sessions are ideal for both novice and experienced practitioner. Jen radiates an energy and warmth that is infectious.
More than memories. Women leave this retreat with:
A restored relationship to rest and your own needs
Tools and practices you can return to when life feels overwhelming
The memory of being held, not holding
Connection to women who understand
Permission to continue saying no to what depletes you
A body that remembers how to soften
The quiet knowing that you deserve to take up space in your own life

The Next Step…
NEW TO RETREATING WITH ME?
I’d love to connect with you on a brief Zoom so you can ask questions, feel into the experience, and make sure this retreat feels right for you.
This isn’t an interview. It’s a conversation. I want to make sure you feel completely at ease with your decision, and that the group coming together has the cohesive, grounded energy that makes these retreats so powerful.
RETURNING TO RETREAT WITH ME?
Welcome back! You know how this works, and I already know you. Simply email me directly and we’ll reserve your space with your €500 deposit. No Zoom call needed.

Do I need to have prior Yoga or meditation experience?
Is the retreat physically demanding?
What if I don't know anyone coming?
Almost no one does. Most women arrive alone and leave with friendships that outlast the retreat. The small group size and the silence at dinner do something interviews and small talk never could: they let you actually see each other.
How many women will be at this retreat?
The group will be 14 women max
Is Wi-Fi available?
There’s no Wi-Fi at Eremito and mobile signal is very limited throughout most of the property. You can find occasional pockets of signal here and there if you need to check in with home, but for the most part, you’ll be beautifully disconnected. I know this might feel uncomfortable at first, but this is where the magic happens. Without constant input, you finally have space to hear yourself. This digital detox supports the deep presence and rest you came for.
Can I reach someone in case of emergency back home?
Do I need a car?
No. Train travel and the included group transfer are sufficient. Once you arrive at Eremito, everything you need is there. There’s parking available 700 meters from Eremito if you do choose to drive, with shuttle service provided.
How do I reserve my space?
What if I feel guilty leaving my family/work/responsibilities?
Do I need travel insurance?
How do I know if this is right for me?
What's the check-in and check-out time?
What about dietary restrictions?
Will there be wine available?
Can I use the relaxation area whenever I want?
Can I extend my stay in Italy?
Absolutely. Many women choose to arrive a day or two early or stay after the retreat to explore more of Italy. I’m happy to offer suggestions for your extended travels.
YOUR INVITATION
If you’ve read this far, you already know.
Something in you is ready to set things down. To be held instead of holding. To remember who you are beneath all the roles.
I can’t promise everything will be different when you return home.
I can promise this. You’ll remember what it feels like to be seen, held, and witnessed as a woman.
This is your invitation to come home to yourself.
